Celebrating 50 years of Porsche Turbo sports car legend with a limited edition, the MONOCHROME

Following the worldwide success of the GT Street R, which has achieved a high status among sports car enthusiasts and collectors with 87 vehicles, our MONOCHROME continues this success consistently.
The legendary Porsche 911 Turbo celebrates 50 years. We are honouring this anniversary with a final edition of 20 vehicles that are designed entirely in traditional TECHART DNA and a monochrome design based on the GT Street R - an explosive combination that offers outstanding performance in every situation. In the MONOCHROME, every drive becomes an experience for all the senses - pure emotion.

Rear spoiler “Mach three”

Consistent lightweight construction and optimized aerodynamics define the impressive exterior of the MONOCHROME.
The rear is eye-catching; our largest rear spoiler “Mach three” is the result of our wind tunnel testing and racetrack experience. The third wing profile extends in the appropriate driving mode, providing even more downforce at the rear.

Open-top super sports car: MONOCHROME Cabriolet.

In the MONOCHROME cabriolet, you can enjoy the sporty-emotional sound of the sports exhaust system with the top down. The flap control guarantees unique acoustic dynamics. The cabriolet is the ideal companion both in the urban jungle and on mountain passes.

MONOCHROME individuality. All details - design, material and colour are harmonised with each other.

The base interior complements the exterior on the same level. It combines carbon with a mix of alcantara, leather, and the highest quality fabrics, inspired by traditional motorsport. The interior manufactory is open to every individual customer request.

The TECHART Design Engineering Process

For the development, TECHART combined traditional craftsmanship with an innovative digital design process: aerodynamic styling, designed both in the virtual world and in handcrafted modelling. State-of-the-art 3D prototyping processes were used, which were tested and verified in reality on the racetrack, on the road and in the wind tunnel. New, high-strength exterior components made of carbon fibre were also developed.
The carbon fibre aerodynamic package optimises airflow through wind tunnel tests, resulting in higher cornering speeds and balanced handling.

Increased downforce on the rear axle, reduced lift on the front axle.

The carbon fiber aerodynamics package ensures higher cornering speeds and balanced handling thanks to airflow optimised in the wind tunnel. It generates four times more downforce on the rear axle and 45% less lift on the front axle at 140 km/h compared to the standard vehicle measured by TECHART. The active aerodynamics of the base model are retained.

Iconic design.

The impressive rear view of the MONOCHROME makes the heart of every racing enthusiast beat faster. The striking carbon fiber rear wing with widened wing profile reduces turbulence and thus provides more downforce, both on dry and wet roads. The 'Rear spoiler I', the 'Rear spoiler III duck tail' and the 'GT Street R Icone - Mach three' are available to choose from.

TECHART rear spoiler III called:
“The duck tail”

The fixed TECHART rear spoiler III is made entirely of carbon fiber and complements the MONOCHROME aerodynamics. Timeless, racing-inspired styling, increased downforce in every driving mode and aerodynamic balance in all speed ranges. The supply of cooling air to the engine is also improved. Among other things, this was achieved with the help of integrated air ducts that were designed with the help of flow simulations.

“Manufactory Interior”

The TECHART “Manufactory Interior” continues the sporty character of the MONOCHROME program with an extensive carbon package inside.

Refined with traditional heritage fabrics, the in-house saddlery in the cockpit references the sports car DNA. It brings this into the MONOCHROME “Einzelstück” collector's world—individual and handcrafted.

A firm grip on performance.

A true specialty of TECHART's master saddlers is the handcrafted TECHART sports steering wheel. The GTstreet R MONOCHROME sports steering wheel features a 5 mm center marking in a contrasting color, while the steering wheel rim is made of a leather-alcantara mix and the hand rests are perforated in a target flag design.

The lion with the key

The new TECHART bonnet crest is also a special highlight, which can be seen for the first time on the MONOCHROME.
Anyone travelling from Zuffenhausen to Weissach will pass halfway through Höfingen, where our company headquarters are located.
The coat of arms of Höfingen shows an upright lion with a key in its claws, a symbol that stands for strength, elegance and character. From this connection to the location and tradition, our new bonnet coat of arms also shows this figure.
